Make a start, make it simple.

” You need to just do something.  You come up with new plans every week and never follow through. Just pick something and do it. Give yourself a deadline and identify what you need to get done and then just do it.” This is what my brother said to me after i pitched another idea for something fitness related i wanted to do, and this blog will be the result of that prompt.

You don’t have to be great to start, but you have to start to be great.

With this, I’m going to document my journey through health and fitness done simply. I’m a firm believer that most things in this modern world have become overly complicated just for the sake of it…….and especially with health and fitness. You can pick up 5 different magazines and books and you can get 5 different, sometimes conflicting messages about how to best go about getting yourself in peak physical condition.

Eat like a peasant, train like a warrior, live like a king will be dedicated to simple health and fitness. I’ll do my best to document my journey using simple but effective training, diet and lifestyle methods to get the best out of life without being weighed down by an information overload.

Life is a marathon, although change can happen in an instant, it’s important to remember that for sustained life changes, you have to focus on repetition, day in and day out working on the same skills, honing your discipline, that’s what makes a lasting difference!

So, with that little introduction, I hope I’ve peaked your interest and hope that you’ll join me on this simple but effective journey through life.
